Despite the rain, Toronto Skateboarding Committee & City of Toronto’s first ever Dunbat Skate Jam was a wet and wild success with over 100 skaters in attendance. Tunes were blasting, burgers were grilling and tons of prizes were awarded.

In addition to the Jam, the new Dunbat mural by Oasis and Street ARToronto was unveiled.

The day could not have been a success without everyone getting together (including an awesome Mom) to take turns squeegeeing the skatepark dry in time for the contest!

Also, a big thanks is owed to our sponsors: Skateloft, Adrift, Sanction, BTL, The Baitshop, Hammer, Instance, Kadence Distribution, Grand Trading, Spitfire, RDS, DGK, Fourstar, Imaginary, Vans, T.G.S., Independent, Direct, Oasis, and Evolve.

Finally, an exceptionally ginormous thank you to our MC Geoff Smith, our judges: Ariel Stagni, Eric Bono, Brett Keon & Homer, our videographer Kai Hoecke and our photographer Lorne Bradley for giving the event a personality.
